Giving to Covenant

Before the doors first opened in 1999, Christians in the community were giving to Covenant. The initial financial backing that was necessary to open the school was provided by generous donors who embraced the vision of classical Christian education in Fort Worth, Texas. Today, Covenant continues to rely on the same vision and philanthropy.

Giving to The Covenant Fund

Give to the Covenant Fund

Why Is Giving Necessary?
Covenant exists independently of any church or denomination and independently of any government/public funding source. As a result, all revenue that supports the school comes through tuition and development.

The leadership of Covenant Classical School is committed to managing the resources that God provides with fiscal responsibility and sound biblical stewardship. With this in mind, the operating budget is set each year to cover as much of the actual operating costs as possible. In most years, this exceeds 90 percent. The remaining costs are covered by generous gifts to The Covenant Fund.

Covenant’s growing enrollment and increasing need for additional classroom space makes the acquisition of capital necessary. Tuition covers most of the day-to-day operating costs but does nothing to advance the school; further enhancement and development of existing programs costs money.

The Covenant Fund exists to fund these advancements, additions, and improvements while carefully protecting the mission and vision of the school.

Opportunities to support Covenant Fund include: Giving Day, September 14 when each donation receives matching funds and the possibility for prizes by area foundations and sponsors, and Year-End Giving in December.

The Scholarship Fund is a restricted fund which provides short-term assistance to families who experience sudden job loss, illness or are otherwise unable to continue at Covenant.

Covenant also hosts two fundraisers each year which, together, raise more than $100,000 for our school!  These events are fun to attend and even more fun to plan and host!  Consider serving on the committee of our School Auction or the Golf Scramble.  Advertise your business or be a sponsor at one of our CCS fundraisers.
