Great Conversation Series Seminar: Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck
Experience Classical Christian Education firsthand in a seminar on a favorite work in our literature and theatre curriculum. Led by Theatre Director, Kate Hicks and Literature Teacher, Glenn Hoshauer, this seminar will explore the American classic Of Mice and Men by Nobel Prize winner John Steinbeck. The seminar will discuss Steinbeck’s play (with references to his novella).
- Why do authors tell a story on a stage versus on paper?
- What is the American Dream?
- How is friendship a necessary component of the human condition?
- What is Hope, and its relationship to human flourishing?
Join us Monday evenings, 7-9 p.m., from September 25-October 16, as we enjoy Of Mice and Men. Attendance, books, cookies/coffee, and childcare (by reservation) are compliments of CCS.
