Covenant Uniform Guidelines

Spirit Wear Thursdays: Students may wear a CCS T-shirt and either blue jeans or a uniform skirt (girls) or uniform pants or shorts (boys). Full-length blue jeans must be in good condition, with no holes, frayed ends, or embellishments. Students may wear boots, tennis shoes, socks, and hair accessories in a wider variety of colors.

Upper School House Shirts: Upper School students may wear their House T-shirt on Thursdays, as well as on Fridays if their House was the most recent quarterly winner in the House competitions.

Outerwear: Daily outerwear to be worn in the classroom may be purchased from Ivy School Uniforms, but please note that all previously purchased outerwear is grandfathered in, as well. This is limited, however, to items featuring the school’s crest, not to the athletics hoodies with the crossed swords logo. (Those may be worn on Thursdays only.) Non-uniform rain jackets and heavy winter coats may be worn outside of class, during arrival and dismissal, and during PE and recess.

Additional Information: Shirts must be tucked in and buttoned up (the top button may remain unbuttoned). There should be no tears or holes in any clothing items, and there should be no visible labels or personal monogramming. Students’ hair should be natural in color and style, and should be kept out of the face and eyes. Girls may wear traditional hair accessories in school colors, and may wear small earrings. No other piercings or tattoos are allowed. Boys and girls may wear one simple bracelet and/or necklace, as well as a watch (no smart watches). Upper School girls may wear natural-looking makeup.
