Director of Human Resources

Covenant Classical School is seeking a Director of Human Resources. This position provides leadership and oversight for all aspects of Human Resources, including employee relations, recruitment and hiring, onboarding, benefits, policy development, staff care, employment compliance, and the school’s risk management program.

The ideal candidate will bring strong HR expertise, sound judgment, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a heart for serving people. This collaborative, hands-on role requires someone who can partner effectively with school leadership, care well for employees, foster a healthy staff culture, and steward the school’s people and resources with excellence.

Preferred education and experience includes a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, along with three to five years of relevant experience in Human Resources and familiarity with Risk Management. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Christian and/or classical education or the non-profit sector.

Lunch Monitors

Covenant Classical School is seeking to hire lunch monitors for Grades K-4 during the 2026-2027 school year. Lunch monitors are required to actively supervise and help students during lunch in the Auditorium. Monitors communicate lunch rules/expectations, mediate student conflict, and report challenging behaviors to Grammar School administration. This position requires the monitor to stay on his/her feet during lunch. Work days/hours are from Monday through Thursday from 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Rate of pay is $16.50 an hour. Recess Supervisors

Covenant Classical School is seeking to hire additional recess supervisors for the 2026-2027 school year. Recess supervisors are required to actively monitor students during their scheduled recess time. Supervisors communicate playground and indoor recess rules/expectations, mediate student conflict, and report challenging behaviors to Grammar School administration. This position requires the supervisor to stay on his/her feet for several hours at a time. Must be comfortable actively supervising and navigating the playground and managing groups of 5- to 13-year-old students. Work days/hours are from Monday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. and Fridays from 9:15 to 11:15 a.m. with breaks available throughout the day. Substitute Teachers

Covenant Classical School is seeking Substitute Teachers for Grades K-12 for the 2026-2027 school year. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and some classroom experience. The schedule is flexible, and the rate of pay is $55 for a half day and $110 for a full day.
