Third Grade Teacher

Covenant Classical School is seeking a third grade teacher. Preference will be given to those candidates who hold a master’s degree, have at least three years of teaching experience, and have particular experience in Classical Education. Special consideration will be given to candidates with expertise in developing students’ reading fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary. Upper School Humanities and Latin Teacher

Covenant Classical School is seeking a full-time Humanities and Latin teacher for 7th and 8th Grade for the 2019-2020 school year. Formal training in Latin is a requirement, and undergraduate/graduate work in the ancient/classical epochs is desired. Covenant Classical School is seeking a full-time Science and Mathematics teacher for the 2019-2020 school year. The teaching assignment will include one section of Pre-Calculus and, depending on the qualifications of the applicant, may include Algebra 2, Physical Science, Biology, or Chemistry. Covenant Classical School’s mission is to train students to live and think according to a biblical, Christ-centered worldview. The School partners with parents to provide a rigorous, classical education that instills a lifelong love of learning and trains students to become mature, wise, eloquent leaders who will engage the world for the cause of Christ and articulate the Christian message persuasively, with clarity, conviction, integrity, and humility.

CCS was founded in 1999 by a small group of Fort Worth families. In 2009 classes began on the new 36-acre campus with its three classroom buildings, an administration building, a football field, and a playground—the beginning of a multi-year plan that will accommodate the school’s growing enrollment, which is now 400 students in kindergarten through grade 12.
