Science Department Chair

Covenant Classical School is seeking a Science Department Chair for the 2022-2023 school year. The position includes a two- to three-class teaching assignment within the department. CCS invites applications from academic leaders who have a deep understanding of the scientific endeavor, a thorough knowledge of one or more disciplines within the sciences, and a desire to lead faculty, shepherd students, and shape curriculum. The ideal candidate will have graduate level coursework as well as experience teaching and leading in Classical Christian schools. Upper School Science Teacher
Covenant Classical School is seeking a 7th through 12th grade science teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. While not a requirement, special consideration will be given to teachers with previous experience in classical education and a particular interest in teaching biology and chemistry. Upper School Latin Teacher

Covenant Classical School is seeking a Rhetoric School Latin Teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. The teaching assignment will include two sections of 8th Grade (LLPSI Familia Romana I: 24-32), 10th Grade (Latin Lit Survey), and 11th and 12th Grade readings courses (Vergil, Cicero, etc.). CCS invites applications from teachers with at least college level coursework in Latin (though graduate work is preferred). 5th Grade Teacher
Covenant Classical School is seeking a 5th Grade teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. Preference will be given to those candidates who hold a master’s degree, have at least three years of teaching experience, and have particular experience in Classical Education. Special consideration will be given to candidates with expertise in developing students’ grammatical syntax and written composition skills. Grammar School Latin Teacher

Covenant Classical School is seeking a Grammar School Latin Teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. The teaching assignment will include two sections of 5th Grade (LLPSI Familia Romana I: 1-8), 6th Grade  LLPSI Familia Romana I: 9-16), and some 3rd and/or 4th Grade classes depending on the strengths of the candidate. CCS invites applications from teachers with at least college level coursework in Latin (though graduate work is preferred). Part-Time Latin Teacher

Covenant Classical School is seeking a part-time Latin Teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. Number (one to three courses) and level of sections depend on the qualifications of the applicant. Interested candidates should submit a resume to Foreign Language Department Chair Marcus Foster.

Facilities Worker

Covenant Classical School is seeking a full-time Facilities Worker to work alongside the Facilities Coordinator and Director of Operations to maintain the CCS buildings and grounds. Duties will include some custodial work, as well as maintenance and minor repairs. The position requires moderate physical abilities to accommodate prolonged standing, as well as kneeling, stooping, bending, turning and reaching. Applicants should be able to manually move objects or materials. The ideal candidate will have a background in a similar line of work.  Interested candidates should send their resume with a cover letter to Stephanie Watson.

The School partners with parents to provide a rigorous, classical education that instills a lifelong love of learning and trains students to become mature, wise, eloquent leaders who will engage the world for the cause of Christ and articulate the Christian message persuasively, with clarity, conviction, integrity, and humility.

CCS was founded in 1999 by a small group of Fort Worth families. In 2009 classes began on the new 36-acre campus with its three classroom buildings, an administration building, a football field, and a playground—the beginning of a multi-year plan that will accommodate the school’s growing enrollment, which is now 400 students in kindergarten through grade 12.
